In line with audit requirements, we need to retain an email record of each reference request. While we can log when a reference is sent, it’s also essential that we receive confirmation of the date the reference was completed This might already exist as a notification, but I have not received one, so I wanted to check if this is enabled, and how it's received.

When viewing a candidate reference, it would useful if we are able to preview this like we do with the compliance documents, so we don't need to download the document when we want to preview it.

Can we have an option to add telephone references to the system?

Please can I ask if it is possible to change the name of the reference titled Reference (Academic)? Or add an additional one References (Agency)? We have many staff who are registered to other agencies and we need the reference information for them. We are asking for two mandatory and on our current reference form as for the reference details for their current agencies to be complaint with Safer Recruitment in Education and safeguarding standards. It would be great if they can enter multiple, if they are registered with multiple others.

Are we able to edit the reference email sent to referees? We usually have a safeguarding statement in and the option to give a reference over the phone if they would prefer and it would be fantastic to add this to the body of the email sent.

Can we have the ability to copy the link to a reference.

Is there a way we are able to add a template of our own in the settings so we can define our own reference message when being sent. FD 5159

The reference template that is sent out for candidate referees to complete has changed? There is no longer a question regarding safeguarding.

Just a thought, not sure if we can remove this feature. We are getting candidates now who are registering an adding references, but they are putting references on that say “don’t contact.” It would make sense if we don’t give them an option, as if we can’t contact them, it makes them a bit redundant. Can we look to remove the permission said as I would say that if they are passing on their reference numbers, it gives us the green light to contact them?
